APPLICATIONS FOR PUBLIC HOUSING AVAILABLE BEGINNING MAY 31
St. John the Baptist Parish Housing Authority (SJBPHA) invites people to apply to live in its public housing communities.
SJBPHA will check the following:
• Household Income, Credit, Criminal and Rental History:
• SJBPHA will judge whether an applicant would be a good tenant and good neighbor.
• To help make this judgment, SJBPHA will check credit, rental and criminal history
• Citizen and immigration Status
• All applicants must verify their citizenship or immigration status.
Applications are available in the links below and at the LaPlace, Reserve, Garyville and Edgard libraries.
Applications will be available at the SJBPHA through July 11, 2014 during business hours at 152 Joe Parquet Circle, LaPlace, LA 70068: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m.
All applications listed below must be mailed to “Low Rent Application” 152 Joe Parquet Circle, LaPlace, LA 70068 no later than July 11, 2014.
About 30 days after SJBPHA receives an application, the applicant will receive a receipt.
Note: More people will apply than SJBPHA can house at once. SJBPHA will place them on a waiting list. A person's place on the list will depend on the applications date/time and the number of bedrooms right for the household's size.
