Business Center Opens In LaPlace

ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH –Today, St. John the Baptist Parish, in conjunction with Greater New Orleans, Inc. (GNO, Inc.) and FirstCall Emergency Network, announced the opening of a business resource center for businesses in St. John the Baptist Parish affected by Hurricane Isaac.

The center will serve as a central place of information on recovery assistance for businesses recovering from Hurricane Isaac. The center will be staffed by officials from Greater New Orleans, Inc.

Business Call Center
What: Call Center for St. John the Baptist Parish Businesses recovering from Hurricane Isaac.
When: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday – 8:00 a.m. - noon

Business Resource Center
What: center to provide a “one-stop shop” for businesses to receive in-person recovery assistance. Resource providers will assist businesses in securing federal or state disaster loans, providing post-disaster counseling, and offering technical assistance. All services will be free of charge.
When: Monday - Friday - 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. beginning Thursday, September 13. By appointment only on Saturdays
Where: 2015 West Airline Highway, LaPlace, LA. (Eliza Eugene Enterprises) in the New Wine Complex
