On Monday, November 22, 2010, Parish President Natalie Robottom served as guest speaker at the monthly West Bank Civic Association meeting.
In addition to updating residents on current and future projects on the west bank, President Robottom stressed the need for partnerships between the parish and residents in maintaining our community parks and facilities and our neighborhoods. Recreation was one of the main topics discussed by those present at the meeting, specifically the West Bank Complex. President Robottom noted recent improvements to the complex such as the new walking path, additional lighting for the baseball fields, and a new airnasium going out for bids.
A brief question-answer session was conducted toward the end of the meeting, with many questions being answered and others requiring additional research. "We take our resident's concerns seriously and try respond in a timely manner. It's an ongoing process and we strive to improve our response time, "said Parish President Natalie Robottom.
Parish President Robottom looks forward to attending more association meetings and has a goal to establish new neighborhood associations where none exists today.
