Early Voting Begins March 11

ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH - Early voting for the Saturday, March 25, 2017 Spring Municipal Primary Election begins tomorrow, Saturday March 11 and continues through Saturday, March 18 (excluding Sunday). 


St. John the Baptist Parish residents can vote early at the Percy Hebert Building in LaPlace and the Parish Courthouse in Edgard. Early voting hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  


On Election Day, polling sites throughout the parish will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Voters are asked to provide photo identification. Residents can obtain a free Louisiana Special ID at the Office of Motor Vehicles by showing their voters registration information card.  Campaign paraphernalia and clothing is not allowed at the polls or during early voting.
