Tuesday, November 22, 2016

St. John the Baptist Parish – Stacey Cador was recommended by Parish President Natalie Robottom and confirmed by the Council as Director of Human Resources at Tuesday’s council meeting.  Cador returns to her position of 11 years following a personal hiatus.

Cador has sixteen years of experience in the field of Human Resources and prior to joining St. John the Baptist Parish in 2004, worked as an HR professional in the healthcare industry.  As Director previously, her areas of responsibility include policy development and implementation, employee development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, workers’ compensation, and risk management.

She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Louisiana State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, Metairie Campus.  In addition, she holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation with the Human Resources Certification Institute.

“It is great being back.  I look forward to again working with Parish President Robottom and her administration, the Council and Parish workforce as we continue to move St. John Parish forward,” said Cador.

Cador replaces Nykya Freemont who resigned to relocate out of state.

“Mrs. Cador is ideally suited for this position as she has greatly shaped her department through development of job descriptions, policies and procedures, employee development and training, health and benefit matters and more,” said Parish President Robottom. She has a wealth of institutional knowledge that will be very helpful in moving the department forward for many years to come and we are very pleased to welcome her back.”
