St. John the Baptist Parish - Parish President Natalie Robottom, Administrative staff and Council Members Larry Sorapuru, Larry Snyder and Lennix Madere joined the River Region Chamber of Commerce, store manager Ray Sparnecht and staff to commemorate the grand opening of Tractor Supply Company with a ribbon cutting on Saturday, September 24.
The new rural lifestyle retail store is located at 2335 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace. A grand opening included a private viewing, visit from Gumbo the Saints Dog, special discounts and complimentary refreshments.
Tractor Supply was founded 78 years ago and has become the leading retailer serving the rural lifestyle. The company has over 1500 stores in 49 states and employs over 22,000 team members.
