ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH – Parish President Natalie Robottom, Councilwoman-at-Large Division B Jaclyn Hotard and Economic Development Committee Secretary Eliza Eugene joined owners Pamela and Jimmy Allen and a host of family and friends for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, October 10th for the grand opening of Elite Affairs Event Rentals. The new event rental company is located at 625 Woodland Rd, Suite 103 in LaPlace.
Elite Affairs is a local rental vendor that provides rental products and decorative services for various types of events while striving to give customers a hassle-free, affordable, and unforgettable event experience. Rental inventory includes a large supply of tables and chairs in various sizes and types, a variety of linens, table skirts, chair covers, sashes, napkins, columns and more. The company caters to all functions –from business gatherings and themed parties, to weddings and graduations.
The Allen’s have over 20 years of experience and enjoy adding a touch of class and glamour to any event. “We welcome Elite Affairs into the business community and we look forward to their success. The ribbon cutting and grand opening featured music, food, decorations and a live remote broadcast from local radio station 106.7. “We work closely with new business owners interested in locating in St. John and continue that work to ensure they are successful,” Robottom said. “Through our Econmic Development Department, resources and trainings are provided to small business owners to facilitate success and growth”
