St. John Parish Creole Farmer’s Market Set to Open

St. John the Baptist Parish – With the St. John Parish Council’s recent approval of the St. John Parish Creole Farmer’s Market policies and procedures, a grand opening/ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.  The Farmer’s Market is located at 5793 Highway 18 in Wallace at the foot of the Veterans Memorial Bridge.

Parish President Natalie Robottom invites the community to attend the grand opening and visit the location during normal operating hours on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The market will offer a variety of local and fresh fruits, produce, meats, dairy products and more. In addition to the economic benefits of spending in St. John, the Farmer’s Market also provides a location for local farmers and agriculturalists to market their products in the Parish.
