St. John the Baptist Parish President Natalie Robottom, St. John Economic Development Director Torri Buckles, Sheriff Michael Tregre, Council members Lennix Madere, Marvin Perrilloux, and Larry Snyder joined owner Annette Houston of LaPlace, family and friends to celebrate the grand opening of Inspire Enterprises, LLC in early February.
With affordable prices and professional services, Inspire Enterprises offers income tax preparation and bookkeeping services for the public. All tax preparations are e-filed for convenience and promptness. “Ms. Houston opened her doors just in time for tax season, and we wish her and her staff the best of luck,” said Parish President Natalie Robottom. Houston is currently a teacher at East St. John High School and plans to work the afternoon hours at her business. “I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur and income tax is what I love to do,” said Houston on opening her business.
Following tax season, Inspire Enterprises will provide customer service training to area businesses in groups of 8 to 10 employees year round. This training will be opened to new employees as well as on-the-job employees. The purpose of a service business, the importance of listening, customer expectations of business, nonverbal communication, interpersonal communication skills, etc. will be emphasized.
