The St. John the Baptist Parish Utilities Department has lifted all water conservation measures. With warmer temperatures throughout the area, all water tanks and towers have been filled to maximum levels and water pressure has been restored to optimal capacity. Residents can now return to normal water usage.
The Utilities Department appreciates all efforts made to conserve water while taking freeze precautions over the last 48 hours.
As pipes begin to thaw, residents are asked to contact 9-1-1 if leaks are spotted on parish servitude.
