ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH–   St. John Parish Administrative Staff and members of the River Region Chamber of Commerce joined owner and Medical Director Dr. Luke Lee, Client Services Manager Don Fontenot and Business Development Manager Paul Crain, staff members and community leaders to celebrate the relocation of Prime Occupational Medicine.  With a need to accommodate its growing clientele, Prime Occupational Medicine elected to build a new facility at 3584 W. Airline Hwy in Reserve, LA.  A ribbon cutting ceremony highlighted the grand opening of the new facility.

Prime Occupational Medicine offers a wide range of medical testing and health screening services used by many companies for standard workplace drug and alcohol screenings. To better cater to industry and refinery professionals in the area, Prime staff members are trained in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and provide industry-specific exams such as respirator fit testing, pulmonary function testing and hearing conservation testing.

The facility also offers pre-placement physical examinations, health and wellness testing,  and treatment of minor medical injuries.  A mobile health clinic on wheels delivers on-site services such as blood testing, flu shots and physicals.

“St. John Parish will always be a permanent home for us but we knew we needed more space after being located here for five years,” Lee said. “We designed the new office after a useful layout similar to our office in Baton Rouge and it seems to be working out great. I would like to thank the community and local government for their continuous support and we hope to continue to provide the services this area needs,” he added. To become a client, businesses should contact the office or visit the website to create an account.

Prime Occupational Medicine is open Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with 24 hour on-call services available.Other locations include Baton Rouge, Port Allen and Chalmette. For more information, call 225-749-5750 or visit
