Parish President Natalie Robottom will discuss PAC recommendations

A Public Hearing will be held to discuss the recommendations of the Presidential Advisory Committees (PAC).  In June, Parish President Natalie Robottom appointed more than 70 members of the community to eight committees to review the operations of the parish.  These committees included Governmental Ethics, Public Safety, Employment and Economic Development, Community Development and Neighborhoods, Recreation/Health and Human Services, Finance, Human Resources, Infrastructure/Capital Improvements.

The committees have analyzed the work of their respective areas, compiled its recommendations and submitted their final reports.  Prior to releasing the PAC report, the recommendations will be released to the residents to allow for questions, comments, and suggestions.

The hearing will be held on Wednesday October 6, at 6:00 PM at LACE The Reception Place, located at 516 East Airline Highway, LaPlace.
