ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH – St. John Parish President Natalie Robottom, Councilmembers Larry Snyder and Lennix Madere, family members and a host of friends joined owners Vedora Carson and Charles Stewart, as well as Business Manager Trenell Muse for the grand opening of LaPlace Southern Kitchen on Saturday, August 10. The new restaurant is located at 975 Cambridge Drive, Suite B in LaPlace.
The grand opening featured free food, drinks and cake and was standing room only for most of the evening. "The opening was a fun-filled event with church members and friends from throughout the Metro area. The atmosphere was inviting and the food was delicious", said Parish President Natalie Robottom.
