ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH – Last Friday, Parish President Natalie Robottom, her Administrative staff, and State Representative Randal Gaines joined Take 5 Oil Change President, Pete Frey, for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Service Center in LaPlace. Also on hand for the ceremony were Take 5 employees, family and friends and representatives from the River Region Chamber of Commerce. The grand opening included goodies, food and refreshments for all attendees.
Take 5 opened its doors to the community on Wednesday, May 22 and serviced 33 vehicles on that first day. “We were very pleased with how the first day went,” said Frey. Take 5 Oil Change in LaPlace is Shop #31 of 33 locations in the United States. The center offers a full-service oil change in five minutes without the customer having to leave the vehicle. A full service oil change includes replacing the engine oil and filter, adjusting the tire pressure, checking the fluids, washing windows, and inspecting wiper blades.
“We are pleased that Take 5 elected to locate in LaPlace and welcome them to St. John the Baptist Parish. Because they’ve completed over 30 stores, there was little difficulty completing this project. We wish Mr. Frey and the Take 5 staff the best of luck as they begin their new operation,” said Parish President Natalie Robottom. Take 5 Oil Change is located at 1413 Airline Hwy, LaPlace (next to Rotolo’s) and can be reached at (985) 652-8063.
