ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH –Beginning Thursday night and continuing through Friday morning, showers and isolated thunderstorms including a slight risk of severe weather and strong winds are expected to impact Southeast Louisiana including St. John the Baptist Parish as a strong cold front moves through the region. The main threat during the weather event will be damaging winds but the possibility of small hail and isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Breezy conditions will continue through this evening ahead of the cold front. Residents are advised to use caution when venturing outdoors and operating vehicles in severe conditions.
