November 21, 2016 ~ State Fire Marshal, H. “Butch” Browning and Agricultural and Forestry Commissioner, Mike Strain has lifted the statewide burn ban on outdoor burning that was issued on November 5, 2016.

November 16, 2016 ~ Residents, festival goers, Parish officials and staff donated hundreds of canned goods Friday night during the annual Andouille Festival $1 night. The non-perishable foods were sorted and packed for delivery to benefit more than 100 families.
